If you've spent all winter tying flies, I think this is a pretty awesome way to manage your backstock, while also selecting a few of the divided plastic cups to use as a "grab and go" mixed stock fly box.
While it's really a travel tote for organizing craft beads called the JamPac, seems like a killer solution to get your flies sorted and under control. Plus, the black case screams, "Put fishing stickers on me!"

I have a small plastic holder that mounts 6 of these snuff cups.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty good solution for a boater, and storing loosely like this is the best way to keep dry flies.

DeleteThere are pros and cons with these little plastics. I have put them in my pack for years. But, when the wind comes up, be so careful in opening up that lid! I have lost flies packed into these cups. So, I am trying to slowly put them back into boxes and just carry a couple with my newest ties and flies of the day. =)
