Standard issue Florida retention pond bluegill!
Needed to knock that out before heading back to work this past Tuesday. Ugh, holiday breaks are far too short.
At least we're on the board!
After last week here in north Georgia I sort of missed the Florida bluegill days until I hit a local creek with ice still on the banks and caught a few wild trout. But those bluegill are seriously underrated on the fly!
They are fun on the fly. And fortunately, eager.
